Entrance to the School for children aged 3-4 years
The majority of children enter Nursery or Reception (ages 3-4) and reach a good academic standard by the age of 11.
Children may start at Greenfield School in the term after they are 3 years of age. Some parents register their children from birth to be confident that a place will be available as soon as their child reaches 3 years of age. Children visit the School before they join us to that they can meet their teacher and get used to the environment.
Entrance to the School or children aged 5-11
Entrance to the School from the age of 5 (Year 1-Year 6) is not subject to academic selection. Children may attend a ‘taster’ day. A place will be offered if staff feel, that Greenfield School is the right place for the child and they can access the curriculum and make the most of the opportunities available in order to achieve their full potential.
