FroGS or "Friends of Greenfield School" is the parent association of which all parents automatically become members when their children join the school. We hold a meeting every term and an AGM in the summer term to which all parents are invited. The meetings are informal and friendly and a useful way for new parents to get involved in the social side of the school.
The objective of FroGS is to act as a social focus for parents and to arrange fundraising events throughout the year such as Quiz Nights and Barn Dances. In particular, two major fundraisers for FroGS are the Christmas and Summer Fayres when almost everyone gets involved. The funds raised by these events provide "extras" for the school. To date, "extras" purchased have included the school minibus, recording equipment, staging, playground equipment, educational games and a number of interactive whiteboards. This additional support is invaluable and all the children benefit throughout the school.
Some of our upcoming events are listed below. If you think you can help, or if you would like to attend one of these events, please do not hesitate to get in touch! We can be contacted on email@example.com.
We are very excited to announce that the Greenfield May Ball will return for the fourth consecutive year and is a lovely opportunity for the community to spend the evening together.
You can group together with friends for the event and seat large groups all together to create a fun and memorable evening.
Tickets will go on sale at the beginning of February. Watch this space...
