Sports Hall
Greenfield School has a full sized sports hall which is equipped with all the usual gym equipment. It is also used for the morning assemblies and for concerts, plays and the end of year musical production.
Art Department
Greenfield School has a designated Art and Design Technology Room. All children do art and DT lessons as part of their curriculum.
Music
The School has a large Music Room and two rooms for individual music lessons. The Music department is well equipped and children receive violin or viola lessons in Year 2 as part of the curriculum.
Science
A fully equipped designated Science room, which includes a number of computers, enables children to have a ‘hands-on’ approach to science.
ICT
Greenfield School has two fully equipped ICT suites which provide children with an excellent resource for research, especially as ICT is taught throughout the curriculum. Individual classrooms also have the use of a computer and interactive whiteboard. Investment in ICT is ongoing thus ensuring staff and children have access to current equipment and software.
Library
Greenfield School has a long established Library. Children are taught to locate books and publications using a computerised library system. The children are able encouraged to borrow books on a regular basis.
Grounds
There are outdoor spaces where children can play at break times and during after school clubs, using purpose built activity and agility equipment. The children also have access to the Pavilion and garden during break times.
Greenfield School uses local facilities such as the Pool in the Park for weekly swimming lessons and sports grounds for athletics and team games. The lack of acreage has not deterred Greenfield children from participating in matches with other schools.
