senior schools information evening

Senior Schools' Information Evening

On Tuesday 18th September 2018 we will be hosting over 25 senior school Heads and representatives in our sports hall. This is an invaluable opportunity for parents considering an independent senior education for their children, to familiarise themselves with the many excellent schools in Surrey.

The senior school exhibitors will be eager to meet you and discuss all that their school has to offer your son or daughter. They will have details of registration and examination dates, entry criteria and scholarship and bursary options for you to consider and take away with you.

The event begins at 7pm and parents are invited to come and go as they please up to 8.30pm. There is no need to register and entry is completely free of charge. Parents do not need to have any affiliation with Greenfield School and friends, neighbours and family considering independent senior schools are all welcome to attend.

Please note, as much as we love children, this event is designed to offer parents the opportunity to begin their search for the right senior school without anyone tugging at their sleeve! Therefore we kindly ask that under 16s do not attend.

If you would like any additional information about the event, please contact Alice Pepe on apepe@greenfield.surrey.sch.uk

open classroom

The Open Classroom event is an opportunity for parents to visit Greenfield during a normal school day and witness the teaching and learning. The tour groups are kept small, to ensure minimal disruption to the class and to allow parents maximum opportunity to see and hear the lesson. The school uses the Open Classroom to deliver key information to tour groups about the progress the children make as they move up through the year groups. It is a key opportunity to parents to revisit the school and ask questions about the educational offer for their child. This event is free of charge but booking is essential.

open morning

Open Mornings are aimed at Prospective Parents who would like to view the school as part of their research towards choosing a school for their son or daughter. Tours are usually given by Year 6 pupils, which allows visitors to hear about the school from a child's perspective. Discussion with the Headmistress and Head of Admissions takes place following the tour. Parents are also encouraged the visit the school privately, if they so wish. This event is free of charge but booking is recommended.
