Fees & Discounts
School fees are charged termly and payment is due in full on or before the first day of each term. The cost of lunch, text books, all trips and visitors to the school are included in the termly fees with the exception of any optional trips and the final Year 6 Residential Trip.
If the school arranges your child’s music or LAMDA examinations, this also incurs an additional cost. Periodically, the School may arrange for outside agencies to perform screening tests in school, for example, eye screening. In these circumstances, payment is required before the screening takes place. The tests are entirely optional.
Greenfield School has a limited annual bursary allowance, left to the school in a memorial fund by the late Joyce Pearce, one of the founding members of Greenfield. Bursaries are entirely means tested and fee relief is not offered based on academic merit, or skill in any other area. Bursaries are considered for applicants who are entering Reception or Years 1 to 6.
Greenfield is delighted to announce that additional funds have been made available for further assisted places. We wish to enable more children to experience the wonderful education provided at the school. The new funds are available now and we welcome applications for pupils in or entering Reception-Year 6.
How to Apply
Bursary application forms can be obtained from the Admissions Office. Please call (01483 772525) or email Mrs Pepe to request the bursary application paperwork.
Terms and Conditions
- A registration form and fee must be submitted alongside the bursary application, unless the child is already registered or attending Greenfield School.
- Those applying for a bursary do not take priority over other families on the waiting list or families who have registered before them.
- All bursaries are subject to means testing. Families must meet certain financial criteria in order to be considered for fee relief.
- If an offer of a bursary is made, a percentage of the termly school fee will be met by the bursary fund. The parents/guardians will be required to meet the remaining fee, if any.
The School offers a 10% reduction in the fees of the third child so long as the two elder siblings are also in attendance at Greenfield School.
We are delighted that you are considering Greenfield School for your son or daughter. At Greenfield, we value work in services such as the Armed Forces and we wish to enable more serving parents to be able to embark on a Greenfield education for their children.
We are pleased to be able to offer a 10% discount of the 2018/2019 school fees for those serving in the Armed Forces. Term and conditions apply.
15 and 30 hours funding for 3 & 4 year olds
15 Hours Funding
The school currently accepts the 15 hours of funding for 3 and 4 year olds. The minimum attendance for pupils aged 3 and 4 at Greenfield exceeds 15 hours and therefore parents must be prepared to pay for these additional hours. For more information on the minimum cost to parents per term, please see our latest Pre-Prep Fee Schedule.
+15 Hours Funding (30 hours in total)
Please note: all +15 hours places are currently occupied with additional places not due to arise until spring 2020.
From the beginning of the Autumn Term 2017, the school will offer the additional +15 hours funding to eligible families who meet the requirements stipulated by the government. The additional 15 hours of funding may only be used to pay for wrap around care sessions (7.30am-8.15am and 3.30pm-6pm) and places will be limited. Pupils claiming the additional 15 hours funding must attend full-time and require wrap around care every day. There will be a charge for the hours attended during the school day that are not covered by the 15 hours funding. Places will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. In the event that parents cease to qualify for the additional funding, they will still be bound by the Contract for Entry to pay school fees unless appropriate notice has been given.
