On 30th April, 14 lucky pupils took a trip to the Oval to watch Surrey V Hampshire.

The trip was an adventure from the start as the children travelled by train from Woking to Vauxhall, before a short walk to the ground. The sun was shining and the atmosphere was brilliant, with approximately 6000 children in attendance.

The children were enthusiastic and cheered all events, even Hampshire gaining 4’s and 6’s. However, the biggest cheers were when Surrey managed to get a wicket! The group of children fortunate enough to participate represented the school in a positive light and we look forward to a return visit.
