The Results Are In....
Since January, Year 6 have been awaiting the outcome of their entrance exams in the hope that they will receive a Year 7 offer to one of their chosen schools. Once again, our children have excelled themselves and we are delighted to report another year of tremendous results.
This year, all 24 of our Year 6 pupils sat entrance exams for local independent senior schools. Along with help and advice from the school, each child and their family carefully considered which senior schools would be best suited to their personality, ability and interests.
The 11+ entrance exams take place early in the new year and children are sometimes invited back to the school for an interview or further scholarship assessment if applicable. It is usually the case that girls find out their results before boys, as some boys' schools are part of an agreement to release results on the same day. This can make emotions a little tricky to manage in the Year 6 classroom but we have been thoroughly impressed by the support, compassion and sensitivity all the girls and boys have displayed during this time.
Many of the children are still making up their mind as to which of their offers they will be accepting and so we will update our official records with this information after the acceptance deadline in early March. However, we are delighted to share the offers and scholarship offers received by our pupils so far in the tables below:

Following the senior schools' assessments, 10 of our pupils were offered scholarships and three were awarded exhibitions as a recognition of their excellence in a particular subject. Overall, 11 pupils were awarded a scholarship, exhibition or both; a truly outstanding achievement.
