Outstanding Results for Past Pupils

Back in 2006, Kai Rohde and Jonathan Wright began their education together in Reception at Greenfield School. Twelve years later, they are still in the same class and still achieving very impressive results, with 16 A*s and three 9s between them.
Kai and Jonathan left Greenfield School in the summer of 2013 ready to take up their Year 7 places at the Royal Grammar School in Guildford. With three younger siblings between them, their teachers and friends at Greenfield were able to keep in touch with how the boys progressed at the school and were all especially pleased that they remained firm friends.
In the summer of 2018, after five years at the Royal Grammar School, the boys prepared to sit their GCSEs and no doubt nervously awaited their results.
The boys' hard work and determination paid off with Jonathan receiving eight A*s and two 9s and Kai earning seven A*s and one 9.
The new numerical grading system, introduced in 2017, has more differentiation compared to the A*-C system, meaning that the prestigious grade 9 is even more elusive than the A*.
Kai also holds a GCSE A* in Mandarin, which he sat a year earlier, a subject that he started at Greenfield and carried on throughout senior school.
Kai's mum told us, "Both boys did extremely well and have been in the same class together since Reception. Greenfield gave them a fabulous academic foundation and excellent work ethic that has supported them to achieve so well."
In recognition of their outstanding achievements, both boys were recently awarded the scholars prize at the Royal Grammar School and are now turning their focus to A levels. Their educational journey together doesn't look likely to stop here though, as they both hope to apply for places Cambridge University. Watch this space!
