After school clubs
There is an extensive range of extra-curricular activities available for pupils in Reception through to Year 6. Some activities, such as Judo and Chess, enable pupils to build upon their skill level year on year and often compete in external competitions. Other clubs will change termly and allow pupils to participate in a project which will contribute to their wider social development.
Clubs usually run from 3.40-4.30pm and occasionally from 4.30-5.20pm.
"A wide range of extra-curricular clubs makes a welcome and enriching contribution to the pupils' development and to their overall school experience." - ISI Inspection Report March 2016
Before and after school activities are available for all Greenfield pupils. Our Breakfast Club is open from 7.30am every week day and children are treated to cereals, juice, toast and toppings as well as a daily hot option. Parents are welcome to stop for a cup of freshly brewed coffee so that everyone gets the best possible start to the day.
At the end of the school day, Pre-Prep children can continue their imaginative play at our After School Care facility. For pupils in Reception and Years 1 to 6, an array of daily clubs provide extra-curricular learning ranging from judo, to design and technology, to coding. Pupils in Years 3 to 6 have the opportunity to attend Prep Club, where they can complete their homework. Those staying beyond 4.30pm enjoy tea and all pupils must be collected by 6.30pm.
"The school is highly successful in providing an excellent level of pastoral support for all the pupils, fully meeting the school's aims." ISI Inspection Report March 2016
