Estates Assistant
 

We are seeking to appoint a full time Estates Assistant to join our Estates team.

You will be working as an assistant in our Estates team, reporting to the Estates Manager. Your working day will be start at either 7am or 10am for 8.5 hours.  The rota will be completed half a term in advance, but cover will be required for sickness or annual leave. The successful candidate will be friendly, adaptable, flexible, well-organised and confident dealing with parents, staff and pupils.

Applicants with Horticultural or a Trade qualification will be preferable, but not essential.

This role is for a 52 week a year contract.

Early years teaching assistant  

We are seeking to appoint a full time Level 3 qualified practitioner to join our Early Years team.

The ideal candidate will primarily be working as a teaching assistant in our Robins classroom (pre-school). You will support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and ensure the needs of the children are met. Your working day will be 9.30am-6pm and the successful candidate will be friendly, adaptable, flexible, well-organised and confident dealing with parents, staff and pupils.

This role is for a 52 week a year contract.

Head of English 

We are seeking to appoint a full time Head of English. 

As Head of Department, you will take overall responsibility for all aspects of the teaching and learning of English within the school.  You will develop and lead the implementation of the English Curriculum in Key Stage 2 and have an oversight of Key Stage 1, working with the Assistant Head of Pre-Prep to ensure continuity and progression through the school.

The successful candidate will have regard for the school's policies and schemes of work.  The teacher will be responsible for the discipline, supervision and welfare of all pupils with the help of support staff.  Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing an English curriculum that is dynamically adapted to ensure the children are well-prepared for the secondary school examinations
  • Monitoring teaching and learning within the department ensuring best practice throughout
  • Teaching English across Key Stage 2

After School care supervisor

We are seeking to hire multiple members of staff to work in our After School Care provision.

Candidates will be required to start from September 2022 (Autumn Term start). Shifts will be from either 3.30pm or 4.30pm until 6pm (various days). The job is ideal for a local student, with the minimum age being 16 years old.

Minibus driver 

Greenfield School are seeking to appoint a part-time School Minibus Driver to join our School on a permanent basis. 

The role will be 35 weeks per year (Term Time only, Monday to Friday), 15 hours per week (7.00 – 8.30 a.m. and 4 – 5.30 p.m.)  The successful candidate will be a reliable and trustworthy person and will have a clean driving licence.  Your main duty will be to carry out morning and afternoon minibus runs in the local area.  Your duties will also include, but not limited to:

  • Being responsible for the safety, comfort and welfare of the pupils and staff
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks before taking the vehicle off site
  • Reporting any vehicle defects, faults, incidents, accidents and prosecutions.
  • Opportunity to earn additional salary through assisting on other off-site visits
