Estates Manager

Greenfield seeks to appoint an Estates Manager to be responsible for the operational delivery and to work collaboratively to develop our Estate, in order to provide the optimum learning environment for our pupils.

With large scale development currently in progress, the School is looking to appoint an outstanding Estates Manager to lead the Estates team and work collaboratively with the Bursar to successfully deliver its estates projects, as well as overseeing the day to day maintenance of the Estate, managing the School’s fleet of minibuses and taking the lead on Health and Safety matters.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Bursar, the Estates Manager will be responsible for managing a team of skilled estates staff, contractors, major suppliers and advisors. The post-holder will show passion for, and take pride in, their role. They will be a leader, be proactive and have a high level of relevant experience. They will enjoy managing a team, be a strong communicator (both written and oral), work collaboratively with all stakeholders and be committed to their role.

Sports Coach and Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to work with our Early Years team as a Sports Coach to support pupils undertaking a range of sports activities, and also as a Teaching Assistant.  The ability to teach gymnastics would be advantageous, but not essential. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities as Sports Coach:

  • Teach Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Physical Education.
  • To take a professional approach to the planning, preparation and organisation of lessons and activities.
  • To participate in the provision of extra-curricular activities, including liaising with other schools to arrange fixtures.
  • Take responsibility for sports teams where appropriate including the running of fixtures, and driving the school minibus, where appropriately trained.

Responsibilities as Teaching Assistant:

  • To assist in the planning, preparation and delivery of work to pupils as required.
  • To offer information, observations, assessments etc. about pupils as required.
  • The maintenance of pupil records as directed.

Music Peripatetic Teacher - Drums

We are looking for an enthusiastic Peripatetic Music Teacher to provide high quality individual drum lessons to students aged 5 to 11 for 1 day per week (term-time only) with the possibility of adding a second teaching day depending on demand. Teaching day(s) must be fixed (Monday, Tuesday or Friday). The school is able to support the successful candidate in self-promotion to build their hours and teaching timetable.

Applicants should be registered as self-employed and provide a HMRC Unique Tax Reference (UTR) number. Applications will be viewed upon receipt. Please complete our Non-Teaching Staff application form and submit to HR@greenfield.surrey.sch.uk
